Kind service, old building, good food…

The staff, absolutely everyone, was very kind and always helpful, as it is customary in 5* hotels. The breakfast was very nice and I appreciated the possibility to press your own fresh carrot juice ! The executive lounge with snacks and drinks was a nice touch.

The building is very run down and the amenities aren’t quite 5* worthy. The shower was clogged and the wind blew through the room, so it was a challenge to keep it warm in February.

the staff was amazing. the room was large and contained all we needed and the seaside view was nice. excellent breakfast and very good cappuccino.

there were noises from 7:45AM due to maintainance of the elevators.

We had a great week. Lovely staff, several lovely restaurants on site.

The hotel was lovely with outdoor and indoor pools. Lovely decor.

The lift kept breaking down and we had to use service lift or stairs but they are getting a new one shortly.

Great hotel and lovely staff

Staff were excellent and looked after us, food was plentiful and a great choice to choose from.

The only disappointment with the breakfast was that the cooked food was only just like warm and in some cases nearly cold. We are not ones to make a fuss so we didn’t say anything at the time. I was very surprised at a five star hotel not checking the temperature of the food.

Exceptional

We didn’t get the best rate but the hotel gave us a lovely upgrade to make up for it. The reception area always smells of roses. There was also a mix up with our meal plan which they fixed straight away. All the staff are exceptionally kind, especially the bellman who has seemingly been there forever. These things make a huge difference to me, and means that I’ll keep coming back here every time I visit my in laws.

I couldn’t get a reservation at caviar and bull - however it was very last minute.

Maltese Memories

Location is good and walking distance to town. Layout of hotel is good and there are some places to eat on site. Liked Henry J Bean the most. Staff are helpful and friendly. Nice views of the bay.

Indoor pool is heated, which is good, but it is very small. Restaurant prices are too expensive.

Execelent winter holiday at Corinthia hotel

Location and restaurants onsite. The housekeepers were excellent, always greeting us when passing by and the room was always made for us :) the reception staff were very polite and helpful but also proactive and informative-always suggesting the best option available.

The pool outside isn't heated

A very good getaway at Corinthia St. George's Bay

The room was great with a nice sea view, the food and service were exceptional.

I would have appreciated if we were informed beforehand regarding certain services such as the shuttle bus to Sliema/Valletta. Also we were not aware that the price for having dinner at Fra Martino restaurant differs if you book one day prior.

Very pretty and lovely views from reception and lovely pools although didn’t get to use them as was December

Wouldn’t book executive room again although getting executive lounge with free breakfast included seemed more for business guests and felt uncomfortable using it as normal hotel guests we got some funny looks when we walked in as if we shouldn’t have been in there

Good value for the money, enjoyed the stay

Breakfast was served a la carte style due to the current situation. Food was very good. Room was clean and spacious enough. We chose the deluxe with sea view and it was beautiful. There were 3 pools to choose from and also a nearby beach (rocky) which is a private part of the hotel.

Breakfast service was a little slow. 3 pools were crowded and we couldn't find any seating so we chose the beach.

Very Good

The staff was very friendly and upgraded my room. They also took time to explain the various facilities at the hotel. The room itself was quite big and well furnished. Great pool view. There are 3 pools in the hotel and looked quite clean. The parking is quite big and costs 3 euros per day.

The hotel is old and it shows in the amenities. The temperature control in the room was ancient and there was a peculiar smell in the hallways.

Great option if you look for pleasant high quality time away from the hassle of main tourist areas

Spa and indoors pool are very good. Signature restaurants are of high quality.

A bit far from St Julian’s bars area. Breakfast buffet is good however only offers the classic British dishes and should also include a Mediterranean selection of dishes
